UMAP (Uniform Manifold Approximation and Projection) is a method that takes complex single cell/nucleus data and turns it into a simple 2D map.
Each dot is one single cell/nucleus. Dots that are close together represent cells/nuclei with similar gene expression profiles.
Each UMAP shows an integrated map of single cells from each tissue. Datasets were first quality-checked and combined, then adjusted with Harmony to remove technical differences between studies, and finally aligned and refined using CellHint together with manual expert curation. (See Methods, Fei et al, in review).

Explore the origin of the data within each integrated tissue object, including study, protocol and other key metadata.
Use the search bar or browse the tissue list on the left to select a tissue of interest. Use the list on the right to select your desired UMAP shading.
